Women’s Prison Acupressure Program

Dr. Adriana Berusch Gerardino has been teaching auricular (ear based) acupressure (ear seeds) to incarcerated students within Perryville Women's Prison since fall of 2024. Students have enjoyed stepping into the role of healer and defining what that means for them. We continue to teach and treat. People within Perryville have reported benefits related to mental health, addiction, diabetes, circulation, headache, fatigue, indigestion, numb/tingling hands and feet, and many more health concerns. Options for healing can be limited in prison. This program intends to create an autonomous healing zone where individuals incarcerated are able to heal and teach one another on their own terms.

We have treated over 500 individuals incarcerated in Perryville Women's Prison located in Goodyear, Arizona.

We are asking for donations for supplies and expenses related to managing this program. Thank you for supporting incarcerated community members professional development and healing. We do this work together!
